A senior at Rock Ridge High, Taylor Dorsett enjoys rewatching the Office, spending time with her best friends, and cheering at Varsity football games. Dorsett hopes to pursue a career in Medicine, specifically as a Sports Medicine Physician.

Shakespeare aficionado Elise Tsao is a sophomore who loves correcting people--actually, she's just a copy editor on staff. When she isn't enjoying a new book, she can be found talking someone's ear off about World War I.

Shradha Dinesh goes by Sarah because she's too lazy to explain her name to Starbucks baristas. Her pet peeves include fun, Elise, anyone with good taste, semicolons, and bad speling (because she's a copy editor).

Arena Souphakoun is senior who has attended Rock Ridge since freshman year. This will be her first year apart of the staff. Souphakoun is a proud member of the Varsity lacrosse team and enjoys every aspect of it.

Proud owner of 734 make up palettes, Rida Ali enjoys playing with colors— and design. When she isn’t fervently rewatching Grey’s Anatomy, you can find her pining over fonts.

Megha Korpol is a first year newspaper staff member who enjoys running track and cross country at Rock Ridge. She attends the Academy of Science part time at ACL as a sophomore and can be found spending time with her beloved dog, Oliver.

Muskan Bajwa is a senior who enjoys reading and writing, and sharing with the world knowledge about current events outside of Loudoun County. When she isn't involved writing stories about Rock Ridge or taking pictures of the athletes in the program, she can be found binge watching T.V. shows or Youtube videos. Bajwa hopes to pursue a career in Criminology and be involved with the Criminal Justice System.

Nina Harris is a sophomore who is very outgoing. It is her first year on staff. Harris was a member of the varsity cheerleading team for 2 years. She now also enjoys covering interesting and awesome articles for Rock Ridge.

A senior at Rock Ridge High, Jala Byrd enjoys binge watching Criminal Minds, hanging out with her best friends, and making money. Byrd hopes to pursue a job in Criminology, as a FBI Profiler.

Amanaki Raass is a sophomore at Rock Ridge who is pleased to help contribute to the revival of The Blaze. Raass enjoys being with friends and family and engaging in many types of athletic feats.
