Homecoming Pep Rally Brings School Spirit to Students
The first homecoming pep rally of the year took place on Oct. 8 outside in the football field. Seniors became the spirit week champions and took the spirit stick. English teacher Shelby Wittington shattered science teacher Michael Clear’s 5-year winning streak in musical chairs.
Competing against the seniors, juniors Srikar Bangaru, Bhrugu Bhatt, Anirudh Rao, Mihir Prasad and Eshan Mathur cheer as loud as they can as streamers are thrown down the junior crowd. The minigame ended in a win for the, leaving the juniors in second place.
