“When I was in middle school, I saw the county music fair they were playing, and it was so much more complicated than what I was playing at the time, and it just sounded so good. They all looked so uninformed and it just looked like a put together program than what I was used to, so when I went and I listened to them, and especially now being the program, and being able to inspire other people to join music like I did is just an amazing experience. You make a lot more friends throughout the different grades if you join different programs. I am able to interact with so many different people, so many different grades, so many different personalities, and when you all have one goal, you find a way to connect.” I say [join band], I think it’s a really big commitment, I’m not gonna lie, but it’s really worth it, because at the end of the year or every time you have a concert, you really hear how amazing all these sound together, and it’s just such a rewarding program to do.”
