Zahra Hameed, Staff Writer
Zahra Hameed is a freshman and a new staff writer for The Blaze. With a budding interest in journalism, she finds interviewing people and writing engaging articles exciting. This year, Zahra aims to familiarize herself with journalistic practices, particularly mastering article formatting and AP Style, while producing work she can be proud of. She also wants to learn to write objectively and explore her interests in multimedia journalism. Outside of the publication lab, Zahra enjoys reading a variety of fiction and watching movies, especially comedies. She looks forward to contributing to the newspaper and growing her skills in both print and broadcast journalism.
