Seated at her desk, history and yearbook Michelle Menna meticulously edits a yearbook spread with her trustee black pen. Balancing her time between teaching AP U.S. history and yearbook, serving as the SCA sponsor, and leading history teachers as the department chair, Menna is often found typing away on her computer or standing in front of her enthusiastic students. The SCA has been an integral part of Menna’s life since 2014, when she first began planning elaborate school-wide events and sharing numerous meetings with administration; now, Menna has decided to take a step down from SCA to dedicate more time towards her personal life.

Sophomore Chhaya Sou, sophomore Brian Pham, and junior Christopher Danh compete in a game of League of Legends, an online MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game that pits players against each other as they attempt to destroy their enemy’s base. The esports club hosts weekly competitions, where members compete against teams from other schools.“It’s been a really fun time,” Pham said. “You get to play games with good friends, meet friends, and be a little bit more competitive, unlike other clubs.”
