Zahria is a senior this year and has recently joined the newspaper staff. She moved to Ashburn her sophomore year during COVID and attended her first year at Rock Ridge virtually. She has been writing as a hobby for several years and found a hidden interest in journalism. Although she plans to pursue a career in biology in the future, her curiosity towards journalism has yet to be succumbed. Therefore, she made space for new hobbies, and began her time with the newspaper staff. While currently involved in the Spanish Honor Society, Phoenix Obsidian, and other clubs, she looks forward to learning more about journalism and how to improve her writing skills this school year.
