Aarohi Motwani is a junior who is currently on her second year of the newspaper staff! She has loved reading and writing ever since she learned to do so. Joining newspaper class has helped her in other aspects such as interviews outside of school or simply in other English classes. Alongside journaling and reporting, Aarohi has been interested in photography from a young age. She feels as though her family has always emphasized news, and what's going on in the world. Going into this new school year, Aarohi is looking forward to AP chemistry, Newspaper Journalism, AP Psychology, and band!

Sitting in between her mom and dad, senior Avishi Gupta enjoys pleasant conversation and polite banter with her teacher honoree, social studies teacher Danielle Donovan, and her classmate, senior Parv Gosai. Gupta took initiative for her own education as soon as she started high school. “She is totally independent and we don’t need to tell her what to do,” her mom, Vandana Gupta said. “She knows what’s best for her and she is aware of what her goals are.”

In Sept. 2021, sophomore Ananya Akula auditioned and made it into All-National the NAfME Mixed Honor Choir; however, music isn’t just about auditions and scores for Akula. “Music is my passion, not a hobby,” Akula said. “It’s crucial to remember that because it reminds me that I bring something important to our world, and that I should never give up on that.”
